We are standing in the parking lot for the Alice@97.3 transmitter building. There are several towers located on top of Mt. Beacon. Out of view to the left is KBGG FM tower. To the left in the picture is KEAR's tower. Next is a tower with backup antennas for KBGG and KDFC FM. To the right of that is a small communications tower, with two-way and cellular telephone antennas. On the right is Alice@97.3 and KDFC's tower. You can just see the bottom antenna for Alice on the tower. The building was built in the 1950s and originally housed KDFCs studios and transmitter. Now three commercial FMs (Alice@97.3, KDFC, & KBGG) are housed in the lower part of the building. KEAR transmitter is housed in a building built in part of the car port. The second story (which until the windows were covered over, had an absolutely beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay Area at night) now houses two-way radios. On a clear day, you still have one of the best views of the Bay area.
